Wellness is the practical approach we take to how we live our lives incorporating the environment we work in, the food we eat, the physical activity we engage in and our fundamental connection to the natural world and to each other.
Promoting a Wellness mindset at work is key to having a healthy, happy and productive workplace and not promoting it can cost employers BIG in terms of absenteeism and poor performance. In fact, according to the U.K’s Chief Medical Officers report in 2014, 70 million workdays were lost to mental illness with a cost to the U.K economy of £70–100 billion per year.
